We offer here 500g of high quality polyurethane casting resin & 500g 6 minutes of hardener. Ideal for casting models, negatives, core cores, control casts or sample parts.
With this 1kg container (50/50 PU casting resin/hardener), impressions as well as solid products of small to medium dimensions can be made quickly. For larger workpieces we also offer containers of 5, 10 and 20 kg (50/50 PU casting resin/hardener) on request.
It has a very low viscosity (viscosity liquid) and is therefore very easy to cast. Thus, even complicated shapes can be realized without any problems. Compared to other casting resins, Resinpal 1818 is characterised by a higher elongation at break and impact strength.
When cured, polyurethane (PU) casting resin can be machined very easily. Due to the longer dripping time, the PUR casting resin can still vent well before casting up to a casting height of between 3 and 5 cm. Another advantage of Resinpal 1818 is its easy processing. The mixing ratio of 1:1 by weight makes mixing and measuring a real child's play, and you can also add a filler such as quartz sand to the rapid casting resin.
For casting layer thicknesses of more than 20 mm, up to 300 parts of filler can be added to each 100 parts of casting resin and hardener.
Package contents: 500 g polyurethane resin and 500 g 6 minutes polyurethane hardener in plastic bottles with dripper.
Shelf life: 6 months for closed containers and 3 months for open containers
